Worm's Way
opened its doors to the city of St. Louis in 1989. Sales
associates joined the growing team and before long, the
St. Louis store moved to a larger location to accommodate
an expanded product line and to provide better access
for customers.
Worm's Way is currently located at 1225
North Warson, which is centrally located less than 20
minutes from outlying areas and only minutes from many
major streets and highways. The Worm's Way showroom
is very pleasant, just like the staff. Visitors are
treated to well-stocked shelves of the absolute finest
products for organic, hydroponics, indoor gardening,
hobby greenhouses and home beer and wine-making.
There's a
200-square-foot display room where consumers can see
high intensity indoor garden lighting, home hydroponics
systems and environmental controls in constant use.
Other displays include an 8' x 12' Sunshine Gardenhouse
full of everything needed to propagate plants, a glass
display case full of the finest pH and nutrient testing
equipment plus cool scopes and other tools. Customers
are greeted by the most knowledgeable and avid sales
associates to be found anywhere. Our gardening and home
brewing customers know that our staff members are highly
experienced and all of our information is backed by
tremendous support and resources.

Worm's Way in St. Louis is proud to have participated
in many community-based, charitable, and private gardening
and brewing activities. Worm's Way has visited numerous
schools to teach children about gardening and in many
cases, donated or loaned lighting or hydroponics supplies
so that teachers can spark an interest in their students
to garden indoors. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts have
invited Worm's Way to present gardening topics and
displays at their group events. Gifted children and
those doing science fair projects have been enthused
and enlightened in learning the scientific method of
problem solving while working with gardening. We often
receive calls from grateful parents and educators thanking
us for helping a child get a blue ribbon or for sparking
a love of gardening.

Local garden clubs know they can call on Worm's Way to
speak at meetings and functions. Whether the topic is
lawn care, organic gardening, hydroponics or something
else, Worm's Way is proud to lend our knowledge and
enthusiasm. We're also a member and occasional exhibitor
at numerous gardening events at the Missouri Botanical
Gardens here in St. Louis. The Botanical Garden's hydroponics
systems and HID lighting are in use at the experimental
Center for Home Gardening. We're proud to be a member
of the Botanical Garden for over 10 years in a partnership
that nurtures knowledge of gardening, environmental
consciousness, and innovation.
When it comes to home
brewing, Worm's Way St. Louis is a positive and supportive
participant in numerous local events. For over six years,
we've supported the Lift for Life Gym by sponsoring
a booth at their bi-annual Microfest and International
Beer Festival events. Lift for Life is a non-profit
organization dedicated to taking youth off the streets
and encouraging fitness in the gymnasium. Worm's
Way also attends Hop in The City, sponsored by St. Louis
Brewery (the Tap Room), sponsors and attends numerous
events held by the St. Louis Brews homebrew club. Our
brewing customers can attend their meetings and finely
hone their brewing techniques while socializing with
some of the finest brewers and discerning beer aficionados.
