Our dedicated Indiana staff loves plants and
gardening because it's a hands-on hobby and there's
always something new to learn. Over the years we've
seen the benefits of organic gardening, natural landscaping,
water gardening and hydroponics. Every member of our
staff specializes in his or her own area of interest.
All of our staff members are caring, cheerful and knowledgeable
people from varied backgrounds with a love for gardening.
The Indiana Worm's Way is located on the
north side of Bloomington, slightly south of Martinsville.
We're approximately 45 miles south of Indianapolis on SR 37.
Once on Hwy 37, just keep driving until you see our warm
and welcoming store, we're one half mile south of the
Oliver Winery. If you're visiting Indiana University
in Bloomington, which is home to one of the most beautiful
campuses in Indiana, come and visit us at Worm's Way.
The very first Worm's Way store began in a shed south
of Bloomington over 20 years ago. Worm's Way changed
locations to north of Bloomington and has grown to include
four other stores with more to come. The Indiana location
is the headquarters of the company and has a store, nursery,
administrative and warehouse buildings.
Worm's Way is involved with various organizations within
the Bloomington community. We also host free classes
for gardeners interested in seed starting, water gardening
and hydroponics. We've sponsored various youth athletic
teams and hosted school, Girl Scout and Boy Scout field
trips. Annually, Worm's Way donates seeds and produce
to soup kitchens and food banks. The Monroe County Solid
Waste Dept. also recognizes Worm's Way as a "green
business" because of our efforts to recycle office
waste.
