I never use more than two tablespoons per plant. That's why some might of burnt their plants.

This product is highly alkaline--they don't tell you though--and one must use care so that your plants don't get burned with this stuff. Be CAREFUL even when you closely follow the directions it can kill because of the high alkaline content of this product.Always make sure to start out with LESS tha

With due respect to the other testimonials this product not only CAN but WILL burn plants even when used at the recommended application rates.I applied 3 tablespoons per plant around my 8-10 inch tall heirloom tomato plants followed immediately by 1/2 to 1 gallon of water per plant.7-10 days later
