Product Description
Beneficial Nematodes control over 250 different insects in the soil, including weevils, loopers, borers, moths, and fleas. They are harmless to earthworms, and leave plants alone. Not to be confused with pest nematodes, beneficial nematodes are parasitic, and invade the bodies of their prey, leaving behind the dead insect carcasses. One batch fits onto a small, 2" sponge and will cover up to 2,000 square feet. To use, submerge the sponge in water and soak into soil with a watering can or pressure-sprayer. Nematodes may also be injected into borer holes with a syringe. If necessary, Beneficial Nematodes may be stored in the refrigerator (40-50 degrees F) for up to 2 months. Instructions included with shipment. Over one million nematodes per package!
To ensure live delivery of insects, two-day
shipping is required and we do not ship Thursday thru Sunday. Orders
placed late Wednesday afternoon could possibly not ship until the following
Monday. Because beneficial insects ship from a different
location, you might not receive them on the same day as the rest of
your order.

Awesome for cutworms and grubs!
This is the ONLY THING which worked to solve a terrible flea problem. After several annual applications, you can skip a year or two, as long as you do not let the ground completely dry out. This is a natural solution which is better than chemicals. Apply to wet ground, in the rain!

Did you know that composting the organic matter from your household can help in the effort against global warming? When materials like food and garden waste break down without fresh air (as is the case when compacted deep within landfills), they ferment and release the greenhouse gas known as methane, which is estimated to be over 20 times more influential than carbon dioxide at incrementally raising the earth’s temperature.
