Product Description

Stonewool is a state-of-the-art growing substrate preferred by hundreds of hydroponics gardeners. Seeds or cuttings are started in these Grodan Mini-Blocks and, once rooted, the blocks are transferred to a larger piece of stonewool. Mini-Blocks can be planted directly into containers for soil gardening as well. Three strips of 15 wrapped Mini-Blocks give you 45 total blocks each measuring 1.5" square.

Rating:
Very good at starting seeds but, unfortunetly it can't be used more than once.

Composting
Did you know that composting the organic matter from your household can help in the effort against global warming? When materials like food and garden waste break down without fresh air (as is the case when compacted deep within landfills), they ferment and release the greenhouse gas known as methane, which is estimated to be over 20 times more influential than carbon dioxide at incrementally raising the earth’s temperature.
