OMRI, or the Organic Materials Review Institute, is a U.S. not-for-profit that reviews products like fertilizers and growing media intended for use in certified organic processing and production. Items are evaluated according to the National Organic Standards of the USDA. Acceptable products are then OMRI Listed® and placed on the OMRI Products List. Look for the OMRI-Listed® seal of approval on your favorite gardening goods, and count on a product that’s safe for you and the environment!
